About the International Program
The International Program at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FTT), IPB University, is designed to deliver globally oriented education in engineering and applied technology, with a strong emphasis on agro-industrial innovation and sustainability. This program integrates international academic standards with real-world applications, preparing students to address complex global challenges in engineering, food systems, and industrial technology.
At the undergraduate level, FTT offers International Undergraduate Programs (IUP) conducted in English, fostering a multicultural learning environment supported by research-based education and strong international partnerships. Students benefit from exposure to global perspectives, collaborative learning, and opportunities to engage with partner universities worldwide.
At the postgraduate level, FTT participates in Double Degree and Joint Degree programs, enabling students to study both at IPB and partner universities abroad. Upon completion, graduates earn degrees from both institutions, enhancing academic credentials and expanding international career opportunities while strengthening global competencies.
Complementing these programs, FTT actively contributes to international short-term academic experiences such as Summer Courses, which combine expert lectures with hands-on fieldwork and practical applications. These programs emphasize experiential learning in areas such as sustainable agroindustry, biosystems engineering, and technology-driven food production—allowing participants to gain direct exposure to tropical systems and real-world engineering challenges.
