International Undergraduate Program

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FTT) is one of IPB University’s leading faculties, dedicated to the advancement of applied science and technology in the fields of agriculture, food, and the environment. The International Undergraduate Program (IUP) is a bachelor’s degree program designed to meet the needs of internationally-oriented higher education. The program is open to both domestic and international students, with English as the primary medium of instruction for all academic activities.

At FTT IPB University, the IUP is available for two undergraduate programmes:

• Agroindustrial Engineering (Teknik Industri Pertanian)
• Food Technology (Teknologi Pangan)

Programme Overview

The Food Technology programme combines food science with modern processing technology. Students explore all aspects of food — from raw material characterisation and processing, to food safety, nutrition, and the development of functional and sustainable food products.

For Indonesian Applicants (WNI)

1. Senior high school (SMA/MA/SMK) graduates of 2023, 2024, or 2025.
2. In good physical and mental health.
3. Select 1 (one) or 2 (two) study programmes of their choice.
4. Applicants may select IPB University’s Choice as a third option; if not admitted to the first or second choice, IPB University will place them based on their scores and eligibility.
5. Graduates of overseas schools must have completed equivalency recognition from the Indonesian Ministry of Education (Kemdikbudristek) and hold an NISN number.
6. Must provide an English proficiency certificate: TOEFL iBT (min. 53) / TOEFL ITP (min. 477) / IELTS (min. 5.5) / Duolingo (min. 80) / MUET (min. 3.5 or 164–210). Applicants without a certificate must take an English proficiency test held by IPB University.
7. Pay a registration fee of IDR 1,000,000.

For International Applicants (WNA)

1. Senior high school graduate from 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025.
2. Maximum age of 25 years.
3. Completed 12 years of primary and secondary education.
4. Must provide an English proficiency certificate: TOEFL iBT (min. 53) / TOEFL ITP (min. 477) / IELTS (min. 5.5) / Duolingo (min. 80). Applicants without a certificate will be given a predicted proficiency test by IPB University.
5. Malaysian applicants must hold Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM).

Applications for the IUP at IPB University are submitted entirely online. Please follow these steps:

1. Visit the official IPB University admissions portal.
2. Create an account or log in if you already have one.
3. Complete the application form and upload all required documents.
4. Select your preferred programme(s): Agroindustrial Technology and/or Food Technology.
5. Pay the registration fee (Indonesian applicants: IDR 1,000,000).
6. Monitor your application status, examination information, and results via the same portal.
